COMPETITIVE / SITUATIONAL GAMES Friday, January 28th, 2007 • 5:30pm - 9:00pm
An on-court workshop demonstrating more than 70 action-packed games that can greatly supplement any tennis program. Each game provides a situation that targets a specific match play or technical skill. The addition of structured games allows students to experience competitiveness in a relaxed and fun atmosphere. Ideal for coaches. The cost of the workshop is $50 for PTR members and $125 for non-members. INSTRUCTING WHEELCHAIR TENNIS INDEPENDENCE PARK BATON ROUGE, LA
Saturday, January 29th, 2007 • 9am - 2pm This course is for tennis teachers and coaches to augment their professional certification with a certification to teach wheelchair tennis. Teachers actually use wheelchairs, provided by Quickie, in order to understand the special skills required to maneuver the wheelchair and hit from a modified elevation. The cost of the workshop is $50 for PTR members and $125 for non-members.
